The merger of Bruichladdich with the sherry casks of the Bodega "Fernando de Castilla" is a new way - with a wonderful result.
The sherries of the Spanish Bodega have already been honored several times with the highest international awards.
Responsible for this is a team of highly qualified professionals, who put special emphasis on limited production quantities, a lot of manual work and traditional firing methods.
The choice of barrels for their incomparable sherry "Antique Single Solera" is also based on premium quality.
Out of these premium barrels, Jim McEwan selected the best and matured malts that had previously been stored in bourbon casks.
It then single malts of different ages were married to each other.
