Glengoyne was born in 1833 from a small black distillery in the Southern Highlands and has been owned by Lang Bros. since 1876. For a while, Glengoyne was also called Glen Guin. Glengoyne produces a light, malty malt with a beautiful soft touch and very nice fruit flavors. The bottle comes in an exclusive black wooden case with plastic disc.
Glengoyne Limited Edition 15 years 1993 - Oloroso Sherry Hogshead - Single Cask This bottling is a limited single barrel bottling in barrel strength, matured exclusively in an Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
Very nice aromas of amaretto biscuits and orange. In the taste many almonds and marzipan, even more banana and a little mint, warm and spicy. The finish is long and marked by caramel, dry to the end.
