Edradour 12 year old Caledonia Selection
The Scottish songwriter Dougie MacLean wrote in 1977 the song Caledonia, a song about his native Scotland.
This bottling celebrates Scotland and the song "Caledonia".
On the label, as well as on the box the refrain of the song is printed.
Nose: sweet with aromas of honey, with dried figs and dates - clearly sweet sherry, spicy oak in the background
Taste: full and rich with ripe, red berries, again the honey, toasted toast, caramel and roasted almonds
Finish: surprisingly dry and spicy on the finish with light notes of cocoa

Absolute Empfehlung für alle die Sherry-gelagerte Whiskys mögen. Im Vergleich zum 10jährigen Standard Edradour eine ganz klare Steigerung, samtig weich, vollmundig mit Rosinen- und Nuss-aromen. Sogar noch besser als die schon sehr gute 10jährige Sherry-Fass Abfüllung des Edradour von Signatory.
