Product information "Speyburn Bradan Orach"
Speyburn fills this single malt whisky without any age information - the name "Bradan Orach" is Gaelic and means "golden salmon", the best salmon you can fish.
The proximity to the river Spey, which is famous for salmon fishing, helped with the naming.

Nose: rich aromas of green apples, soft honey and vanilla - behind lime
Taste: very well balanced and creamy - fruity, again the creamy vanilla, then spicy, some oak
Finish: long and spicy finish - the oak becomes more present

Wenn Man(n) oder Frau einen unkomplizierten Every-Day Malt sucht, könnte er die erste Wahl sein.
Aroma: Äpfel, Honig und Zitrusfrüchte, ergänzt durch feine Vanille und Gewürze.
Geschmack: Ausgewogener, voller Körper mit würzigen und süßen Noten, wieder Vanille.
Abgang: Überraschend lang und anhaltend.

Eine Zeitlang zur Seite stellen, dann nochmal probieren. Mit der Zeit gefällt er einem besser.

Ich finde den für einen Blend außergewöhnlich untypisch. Und für 16€.....kaufe ich ihn ganz sicher wieder.

Er schmeckt, allerdings war ich etwas enttäuscht, im Großen und Ganzen ist er etwas flach, es fehlt so ein wenig der Kick, schade eigentlich.

Aaaber er macht was her, wenn er mit seiner hübschen Tube auf dem Sideboard steht.
