Portrait: What makes the Amrut Fusion special.
With their flagship Amrut Fusion and other Indian single malts at Scottish level, Amrut became India's flagship distillery. From Bangalore, the pioneers established their quality whisky around the globe.
Amrut Fusion owes its name to the union of two distillates made from peated and unpeated barley malt. They each mature separately for four years in former bourbon barrels and are blended in American white oak. The result: malty notes, fresh lemon and exotic fruit in harmony Oak, light peat notes and a hint of sweet chocolate.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Amrut Fusion tastes
- Nose: strong aromas of tropical fruits with lots of malt - clearly fresh lemons, plus a creamy sweetness and spicy aromas - some peat in the background
- Palate: rich in taste, the tropical fruits again and gentle peat notes, with chocolate, roasted coffee and oak
- Finish: long, spicy finish - fruity with a pleasant sweetness - light peat in the background

Top Single Malt zu einem fairen Preis.

Etwas ungewöhnlicher aber sehr intensifer Malt. Kräftig, Fruchtig, die 50% haben ihm auf jeden Fall sehr gut getan. Und vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis her finde ich den absolut Überragend. HAbe mir schon einige amruts gekauft aber der hier ist meiner Meinung nach die Krönung.

Für einen so jungen erstaunlich reif im Geschmack. Die vielen Auszeichnungen kommen nicht von ungefähr. Bin froh ihn Mal Privileg zu haben würden für den Preis aber zuerst zu anderen greifen.

Sehr harmonischer Malt, trotz seiner 50 %vol. hat er einen langen aromatischer Abgang. Ein Malt, auf den ich immer wieder gerne zurückgreife.
