Founded in 1975 as Dufftown's sister distillery by Arthur Bell & Sons in Dufftown / Speyside, this delicate middleweight has long been owned only by independent bottlers. Later, this bottling from the Flora & Fauna series was published as an original bottling.
Pittyvaich was only a very short life, founded in 1975, experimented from 1993 here only with new distillation methods. Finally, the company was shut down in 2002. Today Pittyvaich belongs to United Distillers.
