Moscatel de Setubal Cask - Finish
After a maturation period of 8 years in traditional oak barrels, this malt was bottled for a second maturation for a further 10 months in the finest Portuguese "Moscatel de Setubal" wine barrels.
Moscatel de Setubal is a Portuguese wine grown south of Lisbon, in the region of Setubal.
Through the second ripening in the wine barrels
the fruity flavors of Arran were highlighted.
In the aroma marzipan, hazelnut, dried figs and dates.
Sweet in the taste with a wonderfully malty character.
Complex and very satisfying finish.
