Pineau des Charentes Cask - Finish
This malt was bottled for a second maturation for 8 months in finest French "Pineau des Charentes" cognac barrels.
Pineau des Charentes is a French blend of cognac that matures in its own barrels for at least two years.
The second ripening in the cognac barrels resulted in a very nice malt with fine floral and fruity notes.
The aroma is full of sweetness of honey, pears and vanilla.
In the taste syrupy with a trace of dark bittersweet chocolate.
A very nice rich and very soft finish.
