The result is a limited single-barrel bottling of only 493 bottles (with individual numbering).
Specially selected by Jim McEwan for Malts and More!
On the back label, we've written down the history and location of Glendullan and the tasting note by Jim McEwan in a few words.
The bottles are individually numbered by hand.
Tasting Note from Jim McEwan
Color: polished copper
Body: fresh and stimulating, with that certain something that attracts the attention. The Tempranillo barrel gives the malt additional heat.
Aroma: Wow! Once the malt touches the senses, there is a veritable explosion of fruity and floral aromas. Ripe fruits - cranberries and strawberries - mix with honey, honeysuckle, cherry blossom and honeydew melon.
A mesmerizing sensation that makes your mouth water with its loveliness.
If you give the malt 10 minutes to rest in the glass, you will find more fruit flavors, behind roasted oak and the Speysider with all its original, lush notes.
Taste: In the taste, the intense aroma develops as soon as it reaches the tongue and the palate.
If you add some water, herbs and a touch of white pepper are awakened.
The lush, fruity malt blends perfectly with the Spanish Tempranillo barrel.
Finish: The finish is full and sweet - and short; This malt does not take long to leave an unforgettable memory!
Like all bottlings of Murray McDavid, this is of course without dyes and not cool filtered!

Tasting Note from Jim McEwan
Color: golden amber
Body: An intense malt with a perfectly balanced, medium body.
Aroma: If you breathe deeply into this malt, you will be rewarded with the aromas of toasted almonds, vanilla and golden syrup, followed by a fresh sea breeze that touches the senses like waves breaking on the shore.
After that, rich aromas of orange peel and sun-dried raisins penetrate the nose, in the background a quiet turf fire is easily hidden.
Taste: The taste is rich, deep and long, enough time to rediscover the flavors on the tongue.
The taste of ripe plums, dark, sweet raisins with a little cinnamon and malted barley with warm, roasted oak create a true firework of pleasure and warmth.
The malt has the sweetness of vanilla, toffee and Demerara sugar, without losing the refreshing notes of a coastal malts.
Finish: Like the calm after the storm!
This Clynelish impresses with its intense long, gentle and sweet finish!
Like all bottlings of Murray McDavid, this is of course without dyes and not cool filtered!
