Mackmyra Preludium: 06 Svensk Single Malt Whiskey 50.5% vol. 0.5l

The Prelude: 06 is the sixth and final bottling of Swedish malt whiskey in a series of six bottlings that have been bottled in recent years.
Each edition will feature a specific section in the new history of Swedish whiskey.
Prelude: 06 is a composition of different distillery whiskeys. On the one hand, four-year-old Mackmyra, stored in first-fill bourbon casks, and on the other, whiskey made from 100-liter barrels of new American oak and bourbon casks. In addition some barrels from the Erstproduktion.
The barrels are stored at 50 meters depth in an old mine.

The result is a citrus yellow malt.
Fruity aromas of lime, pear, banana and honey complement pleasant notes of caramel, roasted oak and pepper.
The taste is smoky with hints of juniper.
In the finish sweetness, oak, smoke and a hint of salt.
