In addition to Glenkinchie she is the last still producing Lowland distillery.
Auchentoshan was founded around 1800, the owners of this classic Lowland distillery changed frequently.
In 1984, the distillery finally came to the Morrison Group, which in turn is part of Suntory, Japan.

The malt has a very nice color of golden barley.
Very nice sweet vanilla flavors with light oak notes, followed by soft, warm honey aromas.
Oak tones in the taste, followed by creamy vanilla.
The finish is beautifully fresh and fruity.
