Product information "Bowmore 16 Year Old 1991/2007 Port Matured 53.1% vol. 0,7l"
Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries.
Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.

Bowmore 1991/2007 Natural Cask strength
The third and final bottling from the "Wood matured Expressions" series
In beautiful jewelry box with hinge and latch.
Bowmore created this vintage bottling from 24 barrels in 1991.
The malt was bottled in natural alcohol strength, it is not cold-filtered (Non-Chillfiltered) and free of dyes!

The whiskey was stored for 16 years in selected Port wine barrels

The whiskey has a nice, strong ruby red color.
Aromas of ripe, fruity berries, sweet black cherries and traces of dark dark chocolate - underlined by a slight smoky note.
Warm and elegant, full of fruity notes of blackberries and damascene plums, followed by an earthy, peaty smoky note.
The finish is warm and calming.
