Glen Garioch was founded in 1798 in the Eastern Highlands.
The distillery belongs since 1970 to the Morrison family (Bowmore).
Glen Garioch rested from 1995 to 1997.
It has been producing consistently since 1997 and has even brought the old malting floors back to life.
Glen Garioch produces a peaty malt for Highland standards.
The 8-year-old has a rich golden honey yellow with a medium, balanced body.
A sweet, spicy malt with light traces of vanilla, fresh oak and ripe fruit. The finish is exceptionally soft and soft for a whiskey at this young age.
