Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.

The Celtic Nations series recalls the origins and influence that the Celts from Scotland, Ireland and Wales had and have with "their" whisk (e) y in many countries of the world.
For this first limited edition of 7,200 bottles, a Scottish Bruichladdich was married to an Irish Cooley.
The result is an exceptional, innovative blended malt whiskey.

Whiskey und Whisky in einer Flasche - nette Idee, und im Ergebnis sehr lecker. Rauchig und aromatisch, herb und mild gleichzeitig. Schade, dass es diese Abfülling nicht mehr gibt.
