Talisker
Talisker is the only distillery on the island of Skye.
The whiskey with the extraordinary strength of 45,8% vol. in Scotland is considered perfect for warming up or for fresh days outdoors.
The distillery was built in 1831 and 1832, 1925 it became part of the DCL Empire and thus came later to UDV.
The Scots say, "It is iniquity to make this whiskey weaker or even to dilute it with water. You do not sip on this drop, but warm it up to body temperature, and then take a good sip of it. "
The whiskey author Derek Cooper writes: "... The Talisker is not a drink, but an inward explosion, a hot stove; he hits like a bomb. There is nothing gentle about the Talisker. "

Talisker 10 years
The youngest Talisker is deliciously peppery and powerful with an intense finish.

Talisker Distillers Edition 1992/2005
Unlike the 10-year-old, this malt has been given an additional ripening in an Amoroso barrel.
Peppery, with rich, oily sweetness - traces of peat and smoke.

Talisker 18 years
A large whiskey - full-bodied with sweet fruit flavors, smoky and an intense long finish.
The 18-year-old is more complex than the 10-year-old.
