Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries.
Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.
Bowmore 1990/2006 Natural Cask strength
In beautiful jewelry box with hinge and latch.
Bowmore created this vintage bottling from 39 barrels in 1990.
The malt was bottled in natural alcohol strength, it is not cold-filtered (Non-Chillfiltered) and free of dyes!
The whiskey was stored for 16 years in selected Oloroso sherry casks
The whiskey has a nice, strong color and is reminiscent of teak wood.
Aromas of dark chocolate, raisins and sweet figs, associated with the unmistakable Smoke of a Bowmore.
Warm and delicate, in the taste full of ripe fruits with a light, salty spice.
The finish is long, elegant and rich.
