The Glenfarclas 105 is an approx. 8 years old single malt, bottled in barrel strength.
Despite his fieriness, he is incredibly gentle.
Again, you can taste the influence of the Oloroso sherry barrel, in which the single malt whiskey was stored.

Aroma: a lot of sherry - clearly honey, buttered toast and nutty aromas - in the background roasted coffee
Taste: soft and creamy with spicy and peppery notes - again the nuts, fruity notes of sherry
Finish: long finish - nuttily spicy

Die 60% lassen es zunächst krachen, transportieren die vielfältigen Aromen dann aber toll in den Vordergrund. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt lässt das Experimentieren mit Wasser zu, sodass man je nach Zugabe der Wassermenge immer wieder andere Geschmacksnuancen erhält.
