Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.

The 15-year-old has a wonderful aroma of banana and sherry.

Bruichladdich 15 years 2nd Edition
After 15 years maturing in select bourbon barrels, this malt was stored for another 25 weeks in Premier Grand Cru Classe-Sauernes white wine barrels.

This 15-year-old is rich in flavor, nutty, exotic.
It tastes sweetened and fresh fruit salad.
