Auchentoshan is the only distillery in Scotland that still distils your whiskey three times today.
In addition to Glenkinchie she is the last still producing Lowland distillery.
Auchentoshan was founded around 1800, the owners of this classic Lowland distillery changed frequently.
In 1984, the distillery finally came to the Morrison Group, which in turn is part of Suntory, Japan.

Bordeaux Wine Finish - Limited Edition
Limited bottling with a circulation of 3,600 bottles.
For the first 8 years, the malt matured in bourbon barrels, followed by another 9 years in selected Saint-Julien Bordeaux wine barrels.

The malt has a gorgeous orange-red gold.
The maturation in the wine barrels is very easy to recognize in the aroma. Rich, fruity aromas, toffee, apple and dark brown sugar stand out clearly.
The taste recognizes fruits and vanilla.
The finish is beautifully warm and silky.
