Portrait: What makes the Pierre Ferrand Ambré special.

The Cognac Pierre Ferrand Ambré is a vatting of 4 to 6 year old Cognacs and a small proportion of 10 to 12 year old Cognacs, as well as Colombard Cognacs (10%).
During the first years, the Pierre Ferrand Ambré matured in new 350L oak barrels, then in medium-toasted, used 350L cognac barrels.

• Nose: Delicate aromas of vanilla, fresh roses, and violets, followed by the finest hints of ripe plums and apricots, later also apple and pear tart.
• Palate: Soft and delicate - the palate lives up to the promise of the nose - all aromas are reflected in pronounced flavor notes - the plums and apricots are particularly present.
• Finish: Long, soft, harmonious finish - a very delicate, aromatic Grande Champagne Cognac.
