Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries.
Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.

Bowmore Dusk Claret Bordeaux Finish 50% vol. 0,2l
The "Dusk" matures for about 12 years in a Bourbon cask and about 2 more years in a Claret Bordeaux wine barrel.
It is a medium heavy, sweet malt, slightly smoky. The taste is slightly fruity with sweet red wine notes and traces of chocolate and licorice.
Bowmore Darkest Oloroso Sherry Finish 43% vol. 0,2l
The Darkest ripens for about 12 years in a Bourbon cask and about 2 more years in an Oloroso sherry cask.
It's a dark, heavy malt with a hint of sweet caramel.
Bowmore Dawn Ruby Port Finish 51.5% vol. 0,2l
The "Dawn" ripens first in bourbon barrels and gets its finish in selected Ruby port wine barrels.
Fresh flavors of lemon and a touch of sea breeze make this malt a top representative of this distillery.
