Justerini & Brooks was founded in 1749 as a liquor store by the emigrated Italian Giaccomo Justerini in London.
Together with his partner George Johnson, he made a fortune in the next 11 years and returned to his homeland.
The Johnsons sold in 1831 to Alfred Brooks, who gave the company its present name.
The J & B Rare is an 8-year, very pure and lightweight premium blend, it is one of the most successful spirits brands.
Nose: slightly fruity aromas, with nuts and dry, spicy oak
Taste: ripe berries and fresh fruit salad, followed by light caramel notes
Finish: short, dry finish with some oak and spicy notes
