"The ugly Duckling"
Since 1982 Aalborg has released the Jule Akvavit, always in a strictly limited edition and always with 47% vol. Alcohol content. That's the strength that a brandy had a good hundred years ago.
This year, Aalborg commemorates the great Danish poet, who would have been 200 years old in 2005 - the inspiration for the bottle shape and the gift box came from the famous fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling".
