Gordon & MacPhail
Gordon & MacPhail is probably the most important independent bottler in Scotland.
Gordon & MacPhail has vast stocks of barrels from almost all distilleries, the stored vintages date back to the 30s.
The most famous series by Gordon & MacPhail is the Connoisseurs Choice with over 40 different bottlings.
There is also a Cask Strength series and bottlings under the name Spirit of Scotland and Speymalt.
One thing all the bottlings have in common is the very high, excellent quality.
Millburn
Millburn was the first distillery in Inverness.
Probably it was already founded in 1807, it is proven that was produced here from 1825.
In 1943, Millburn came to DCL - today United Distillers and Vintners (UDV) - and was closed in 1985.
Today the building is home to the "Beefeater Distillery Restaurant".
Millburn produced a soft malt with a full, slightly oily body.
