Dalwhinnie is the highest distillery in Scotland and produces a very aromatic, smooth, almost sensual malt.
The Dalwhinnie 15 year is one of the best-selling single malts of the Classic Malts in Scotland.
The water that is used in the Dalwhinnie comes from the high Lochan an Doire Uaine.
The Dalwhinnie is stored in 15-year-old ex-bourbon barrels. Its taste can be described as mild. The peat taste is only slightly pronounced, since only schach peated barley is used in the production process.
Dalwhinnie is an important ingredient in the blends Black & White and Dimple.

- Nose: The Dalwhinnie's aroma clearly suggests toffee and sugared fruits- especially apple, pear and nectarine - in the background spicy, light smoke
- Palate: Malty with nutty notes, plus honey and vanilla - spicy heather tones with some smoke
- Finish: The 15 year old Dalwhinnie has a long finish - again the malt and nuts

Dieser ausgesprochen bekömmliche Whisky gehört zu meinen Favoriten! Die Qualität ist über die Jahre hinweg immer stabil geblieben! Sehr zu empfehlen für Genießer von nicht zu scharfen Aromen!

Ein sehr ausgewogener, gut gereifter Whisky. Er verbindet die angenehmen Seiten der Highlands miteinander, leichte florale Aromen wechseln sich mit einer tollen Honignote ab und ergänzen. Ein toller Dram, der niemanden überfordert.

Ein weicher ausgewogener Highlander, ohne Rauch und Torf. Lädt auch dazu ein mit der Wasser-Pipette zu experimentieren. Damit wird jeder Gast herzlich empfangen.
