Tasting Notes: This is how the Caol Ila 12 year old tastes like
- Nose: Peat smoke, fresh seaweed, slightly salty
- Palate: Peat smoke and smoked fish, tar and damp leather , slightly salty
- Finish: smoked fish again, now almost as if it was burnt, oily notes that linger for a long time, with a touch of lemon and caramel
