The Famous Grouse
Developed in the 1890s by the company Matthew Gloag & Son, the recipe in its "foundations" is still unchanged today.
The pleasantly spicy blend does not only fit at any time of the day, it is also the absolute favorite blend of the Scots.
It has such big single malts as Macallan and Highland Park.
Nose: light and elegant with aromas of toffee, biscuits and apples - light herbs in the background
Taste: again the pastry, with creamy notes of malt and smoke, slightly spicy
Finish: pleasant finish with malty and sweet notes

Wir trinken Famous Grouse seit unserem letzten Mallorca Urlaub und so kommt ein nostalgisches Urlaubs-Feeling auf. Er schmeckt und wir bleiben dabei!

Kenne diesen Whiskey aus früherer Zeit. War jetzt eher enttäuscht, mein Geschmack hat sich wohl inzwischen weiter entwickelt.
