Eine ganz neue Marke rief Amrut dagegen 2021 mit Single Malts of India ins Leben.
Ziel der Marke ist, unter ihrem Dach bislang verborgene indische Whiskyperlen verschiedener Destillerien zu versammeln.

Die Pionierabfüllung, Neidhal, ist laut Amrut der erste unabhängig abgefüllte Single Malt Indiens.
Neidhal, die Küstenregion, steht für eine der fünf Regionen der Erde, die in alten tamilischen Texten klassifiziert werden - jede mit eigenen Eigenschaften.

Und nun auch eigenem Whisky.
Als Vertreter der indischen Küstenlandschaft zeigt der von Amrut veredelte Peated Single Malt tropische Früchte und süße Vanille ebenso wie weiche Phenole, Meersalz und Jod.
