Non Plus Ultra ist heute ein Ausdruck für "das Beste" oder "nichts besseres folgt" - in der Antike fand man den Schriftzug "Non Plus Ultra" an den Säulen des Herakles um das Ende der bekannten Welt am Ausgang des Mittelmeers, der Straße von Gibraltar, zu markieren.
Non Plus Ultra diente somit als Warnung für die Seefahrer, ihre Reise nicht weiter in diese unbekannte Welt fortzusetzen - Non Plus Ultra kommt aus dem lateinischen und bedeutet in der korrekten Übersetzung "nicht mehr weiter"!

Nur die besten und ältesten Fässer, sorgsam ausgewählt und von Hand geblendet, finden den Weg in diese Abfüllung.
Gereift in ehemaligen Sauternes-Weinfässern!

Aroma: sehr fruchtig und weich im Aroma - deutlich Aprikosen und Nektarinen, dazu weiche, süße Rosinen und milder Honig - im Hintergrund leicht würzig
Geschmack: weich und cremig im Geschmack - wieder die Früchte und die Rosinen - über allem liegt weiche Vanille und Karamell - dahinter leichte würzige Anklänge
Abgang: lang und elegant im Abgang - die Süße bleibt, die Würzigkeit wird nun präsenter
