Kopke ist das älteste Portwein-Haus - jeder Wein dieses Hauses erzählt eine Geschichte.
Die Trauben für Kopkes Colheitas werden zum optimalen Zeitpunkt von Hand geerntet und entrappt, anschliessend gekeltert und verarbeitet.
Der Wein wird sorgfältig mazeriert, um die Farbe, Tannine und Aromen zu extrahieren, die durch ständiges Rühren während der Gärung verstärkt werden - dies geschieht in Fässern (Lagares) bei kontrollierter Temperatur zwischen 28-30 Grad Celsius bis der gewünschte Süßegrad (Baumé) erreicht ist.
Anschließend wird  An diesem Punkt wird Tresterbrand hinzugefügt, um den endgültigen Likörwein herzustellen.

Das Ergebnis ist ein Wein von hoher Qualität, hergestellt aus einer einzigen Ernte.
Ein Colheita-Wein reift in Eichenfässern, nie weniger als sieben Jahre.
Anschließend wird der Portwein auf Flaschen abgefüllt.

Der Kopke 1979 Colheita hat eine tiefe Bernsteinfarbe.

Aroma: komplexe und reichhaltige Aromen von getrocknetem Obst
Geschmack: am Gaumen deutlich, ausgewogen und harmonisch mit elegant kombinierten Tanninen
Abgang: Obst und Tannine verweilen in einem köstlichen Abgang

Ideal zu Walnuss- und Mandelkuchen.
Am besten servierst Du den Kopke 1979 Colheita bei einer Temperatur zwischen 12 und 14 Grad Celsius.
