Kopke ist das älteste Portwein-Haus - jeder Wein dieses Hauses erzählt eine Geschichte.
Zum optimalen Zeitpunkt von Hand geerntet, werden die Trauben entrappt, gekeltert und sorgfältig mazeriert, durch ständiges Rühren während der Fermentation in Edelstahltanks werden die Aromen verstärkt.
Die Fermentation erfolgt bei kontrollierter Temperatur zwischen 28 und 30 Grad Celsius bis der richtige Süßegrad (Baumé) erreicht ist.
Anschließend wird Traubentrester hinzugefügt, um den endgültigen Portwein herzustellen.

Verschnitten werden Weine verschiedener Ernten, mit unterschiedlichen Reifegraden in Edelstahltanks und Holzfässern für mindestens drei Jahre, das Ergebnis ist ein reichhaltiger und aromatischer Portwein mit perfekter Süße.

Der Kopke Tawny 20 Jahre hat eine zarte orange-grüne Farbe.

Aroma: seine herrliche Nase ist eine komplexe Verbindung von getrockneten Früchten und Gewürzen, dazu Aromen von edlem Holz
Geschmack: am Gaumen sind seine Noten reich und konzentriert
Abgang: langer, samtigweicher Abgang

Der Kopke Tawny 20 Jahre ist unwiderstehlich mit einer Vorspeise aus Gänseleber mit Auberginen und Walnüssen.
