Der maritime Blended Malt Scotch Whisky von Douglas Laing startete seine "Karriere" als "Rock Oyster" - um die Tatsache, daß es sich hier nur um Inselwhiskies handelt, deutlicher herauszustellen, benannte Douglas Laing den Whisky um in "Rock Island"!
In ihm vereint sind die großen Malt Whiskies von den schottischen Inseln Jura, Islay, Arran und den Orkneys.
Eine Hommage an das Meer unter der Verwendung der feinsten, maritimen Malt Whiskys.

Ein wahrhaft maritimer Malt Whisky - delikat, geschmackvoll und reichhaltig im Geschmack mit Aromen der stürmischen, nordatlantischen See.
Wie bei Douglas Laing selbstverständlich, natürlich ohne den Zusatz von Farbstoffen und ohne Kältefilterung.

Aroma: vom Meer umspülte Küstenfelsen und eine frische, salzige Meeresbrise
Geschmack: sanfte Noten von süßem Torf, Rauch und Honig - dann feuchte Asche, Lakritze und ein Hauch von Pfeffer
Abgang: langer Abgang, in dem die kräftigen Aromen und Noten nochmals deutlich zurückkommen
