Wm Grant & Sons Ltd. ist der große Name hinter diesem Blended Whisky, der eigentlich ein Vatted ist - hier in der kleinen 50ml-Flasche zum Kennenlernen.
Lediglich 27 Fässer aus nur drei verschiedenen Speyside-Destillerien wurden für diesen außerordentlich weichen und fruchtigen Whisky miteinander vermählt.
Feine Aprikosen-Aromen, Vanille-Töne und eine angenehme Malzigkeit sind das Ergebnis.

Der Begriff Monkey Shoulder stammt aus der Zeit, als die Gerste beim Trocknen auf den Darrböden der Destillerien noch mit Schaufeln gewendet wurde.
Die "Monkey Shoulder" ist nichts anderes als eine Schaufel zum Wenden der Gerste.
