Produktbeschreibung "Dudognon Vieille Reserve Grande Champagne 40%vol. 0,7l"
Bereits im Jahr 1776 gegründet, wurde - unter der Regentschaft von Napoleon III - das Gut im Jahre 1852 von der Familie Dudognon erworben.
Für die Herstellung des Cognacs verwendet die Familie Dudognon nur Weine aus eigenem Anbau.
Die Eichenholzfässer für die Reifung des Destillats stammen aus der benachbarten Provinz Limousin.
 
Besonderen Wert legt man im Hause Dudognon auf das Reduktionsverfahren, die Verminderung des Alkoholgehalts des Cognacs auf Trinkstärke.
Bei diesem Verfahren wird, neben der natürlichen Reduktion, die ungefähr 0,5% pro Jahr beträgt, die Reduktion mit sogenannten "Les petites Eaux" (ältere schwachgrädige Brände) durchgeführt.
 
Die Dudognon-Cognacs werden weder filtriert noch einer Kältebehandlung unterzogen, alles Voraussetzungen zur Erzeugung eines Cognacs, der durch seine einzigartige Fülle, Harmonie und Ausgewogenheit eine große Rarität darstellt.

Die verwendeten Fässer des Vieille Reserve sind über 20 Jahre alt.

Aroma: feine Vanille-Aromen, dazu Nüsse und etwas Honig - über allem würziges Holz
Geschmack: weich, mit leichter Süße, wieder die Nüsse und die Vanille, leicht fruchtige Noten
Abgang: mittellanger Abgang
