Produktbeschreibung "Balvenie 12 Jahre Double Wood 40%vol. Sample 0,04l"
Der Double Wood wird in zwei unterschiedlichen Fässern gelagert.
Zunächst für 11,5 Jahre in Bourbonfässern und anschließend 6 Monate in ausgewählten Sherry-Fässern.
Der Sherry ist unverkennbar im Aroma und Geschmack, hinzu kommen leichte Orangentöne.

Aroma: gemahlene Gerste, leicht nussig, dann fruchtige Noten von Grapefruit und Kirschen
Geschmack: süß im Geschmack, die Fruchtigkeit ist deutlich - jetzt Orange und rote Beeren, leicht würzig mit etwas Vanille - und ganz im Hintergrund glaubt man etwas Torf
Abgang: trockener und würziger Abgang, angenehm wärmend
