Produktbeschreibung "Benrinnes 15 Jahre Flora & Fauna 43%vol. 0,7l"
Benrinnes wurde in der Speyside 1834 unter dem Namen "Lyne of Ruthrie Distillery" gegründet - vier Jahre später, 1838 wurde der Name "Benrinnes" eingeführt.
Dewar's übernahm im Jahre 1922 die Destillerie und so kam Benrinnes über DCL zu dem heutigen Besitzer UDV. (United Distillers and Vintners).
Der Malt bildet die Basis für die Blends von A.A. Crawford, die bis 1992 auch Lizenzinhaber von Benrinnes waren.
Benrinnes produziert einen mittelschweren und sehr ausgewogenen Malt, das mag mit der Destillationsmethode zusammenhängen, die, ähnlich wie bei Springbank, eine 2,5-fache Destillation vorsieht.

Sehr runder Benrinnes. (Wie die meisten aus der Flora und Fauna Serie.) Schön, dass auch Destillen die sonst eher in Blends gehen für Liebhaber verfügbar sind.
